Lean Six Sigma LeadershipBuilding, integrating and leveraging your lean and six sigma programs for bottom-line results. Course DescriptionBoth Lean and Six Sigma have gained strong reputations for their ability to generate significant performance enhancements. When it comes to execution, however, far too few companies realize the benefits they expected. When combined, some can even slip back as efforts to integrate fail. Why does all this happen? It’s not about the tools, but key and specific failures in leadership, program management, company integration and project execution that are to blame. The Lean Six Sigma Leadership program is an introduction to neither Lean nor Six Sigma but instead is a deep exploration into the critical success factors and what it takes to succeed in this effort. Lean Six Sigma must be designed, managed and improved at three basic levels: the Company level, the Program level and the Project level. This course will explore the most effective path forward at all three level plus a fourth element of Leadership which cuts across all three levels. A key component of this program is our unique Situational Simulation process, where you will explore real situations, decisions, leadership and conversation as a method to unravel the keys to success in a Lean Six Sigma process. Key Benefits
AgendaDay 1: Projects and Programs Learn important lessons about what makes effective projects utilizing the DMAIC method. This is not a lesson on DMAIC, but on project structure, leadership, connectivity and process. Day 1 will also explore effective program management from resources and infrastructure to integration and planning. Six Sigma is most powerful when integrated with lean efforts and you will gain a clear understanding of how these concepts fit with one another. We will also introduce our proprietary Situational Simulation process whereby across these two days you will explore real situations, their underlying issues and solutions to key problems. Days 2: Integration, Leadership and Planning There is more to success in Lean Six Sigma than just projects. It must be a part of how your company does business. Day 2 will explore how Lean Six Sigma must be integrated into the company business process, and will also explore key issues of leadership in this vital transformation process. Finally, you will learn key perspectives on planning your programs and leave with an action plan for success. LocationLean Learning Center, Novi, Michigan |
